This might be another unpopular move, but it's necessary. Westbrook will go down as one of the great running backs and all-around playmakers in Eagles history. The Villanova grad was a special player who brought joy to this city. There were too many highlight-reel worthy moments to even remember them all, and he accomplished it without any of the off-the-field nonsense.

EACH YEAR, the Eagles distribute a handbook to the scouts in their organization that describes in detail the kind of player they're looking for at each position. Everything from height-weight-and-speed parameters to preferred favorite ice cream flavor. While I've never been privy to its contents, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the running backs chapter is really, really short. Like two words. Brian Westbrook.
