Jeremy Maclin was asked this week whether teams might start double covering DeSean Jackson and whether that would open up more opportunities for him. Maclin responded with some tough talk.
Sometimes last year he did get doubled a little but I'm not going to allow people to do that this year. They can't do it. Simple as that, and if anyone tries to cover us man to man they'll be in for a long day.
Maclin has been backing up his tough talk this season. He hasn't racked up a ton of yards like DeSean Jackson has, but he is tied for the league lead in TD passes with 4. Ironically, all three of his red zone TD catches this year appear to have come when the defense tried single coverage on him.
