Eagles Acquire Jerome Harrison In Swap Of RBs With Browns

The Eagles pulled off a trade today swapping running backs with the Cleveland Browns. The Eagles sent the disappointing Mike Bell for a guy that the Browns are probably seeing as a disappointment in Jerome Harrison.

From Eagles perspective, you can't dislike the deal. Mike Bell offered nothing. Harrison can't be any worse. The worst case scenario here is that Harrison also gives the Eagles nothing. Best case is he shows off some of the magic he had last season and becomes a useful #2 to LeSean McCoy.

Speaking of that magic... The thing that makes Harrison intriguing is the off the charts way he ended last season. Over the final three games he rushed for a total of 561 yards and 5 touchdowns. Of course he never really did anything like that the previous few years he was in the league and never did it since... but again, he's not Mike Bell.

Is it a good deal? We'll see... but it sure is an easy deal to make. A no brainer really.

Highlight reel after the jump...
