The Eagles have announced that they've cut undrafted free agent K/P Sam Swank and signed punter Ken Parrish to replace him.
The Eagles have added punter Ken Parrish, from East Stroudsburg University. Parrish was with the 49ers in 2007 during the preseason and then was out of football last year. Parrish worked on his technique in Modesto, CA and worked out for the Eagles earlier this week.
At East Stroudsburg, Parrish (6-1, 210) averaged 40.3 yards per punt and downed 59 of his 174 career punts inside the 20-yard line. He was born in East Stroudsburg, PA.
Parrish grew up in East Stroudsburg which is only about an hour or so north of Lehigh, where the Eagles have their training camp.
