NFL announces primetime week 1 schedule

New, comments

The Eagles will not be involved in any of the primetime games on opening weekend of the NFL season

The league slate opens up on Thursday, Sept. 10 with the Super Bowl champion Steelers hosting the Tennessee Titans in the new rite of passage that is the Thursday night league kickoff. The Sunday night opener is Green Bay against Chicago. On Monday night, the debut of T.O. with the Bills will come against Randy Moss and the Patriots. The West Coast nightcap is the Chargers hosting the Raiders

We also know that the Eagles will not play on Thanksgiving this year. We have known the Eagles opponents for quite some time, but we won't know the actual dates until the full schedule is released next month.
