Donovan McNabb is sitting out the Philadelphia Eagles' passing camp Tuesday with shoulder tendinitis.
The five-time Pro Bowl quarterback likely will miss the rest of the week's organized team activities. Kevin Kolb, a second-round pick last season, worked with the first-team offense in McNabb's absence.
The Eagles are saying the tendinitis is from lifting weights. Shoulder tendinitis is little more than soreness and maybe some inflammation in the shoulder and should heal with simply some rest. Still, the fact that the QB is being held out of practice with a shoulder injury before camp has even begun is not exactly something we want to be hearing.
