There's not doubt that the premier position this offseason has been cornerback. We've seen 2 corners franchised, one traded and signed for big money, and of course our own Asante Samuel was considered the biggest prize of FA. One of the franchised corners, Marcus Trufant ended up getting an extension worth in the are of $9.5 million a year. Just last year Nate Clements signed a massive free agent deal and we still may Lito Sheppard traded for something significant.
We even seen lower tier guys like Randall Gay get pretty big money.
