Eagles' GM Tom Heckert was a guest on the Eagles' own internet radio show, Eagles Live with Dave Spadaro this week. While Heckert was understandably dodgy about who or what the Eagles would be interested in, I did come away with some impressions. Without posting specific quotes, it seemed clear to me that the Eagles see their top 3 needs as corner, offensive tackle, & defensive end in no particular order.
As far as offensive tackles, the news from the NFL scouting combine is good.
Pittsburgh Steelers director of football operatioins Kevin Colbert recently left the podium after raving about the group of offensive tackles in this draft. He called in the best collection of tackles he's seen in a draft class in 24 years and noted that many of the tackles could play on either the left side or right side. That group could include Kansas' Anthony Collins, who played on the left side and right side during his college career and said this morning that he'd be ready to play either spot in the NFL.
