Desean Jackson had four drops on the day, including two deep passes that could have both been touchdowns.
"I should have had both of them," Jackson said succinctly. "I'm still young. I came in and tried to make plays for the team," Jackson said. "I wasn't able to get things going like I usually do, or like I needed to."
That's the thing with rookies... when you depend on rookies to make plays you live with their growing pains as well. Desean has never shied away from owning up to his mistakes.
"I'll take the blame," Jackson said. "Being the receiver I am I definitely feel like I should have made those plays."
Most Eagles didn't have much to say.
"Crushing," linebacker Chris Gocong said. "I'm just at a loss for words right now."
Reggie Brown may have summed it best when asked about the final play.
"What did it feel like? It sucked. This type of game, the implications of this game were enormous for this team."
You got that right Reggie.
Brian Westbrook was only asked to run the ball 12 times... a fact he didn't seem to happy about.
"I don't ask any questions," Westbrook said. "Coach saw something that dictated that we should pass the ball."
