Some good news from our young secondary. Sean Considine delivered a big hit on big TE Brent Celek that jarred the ball loose. CJ Gaddis chased down Tony Hunt from behind on what would have been a sure TD. Actually, that's not great news for Tony Hunt.
Les Bowen thinks is you were only using this camp as your criteria for who starts at WR this year... your starters would be Kevin Curtis & Jason Avant.
Alot of starters have been held out of practice this week with different injuries. Although it seems it's just a case of Andy Reid playing it safe.
Although Andy says he hates to single out guys that have impressed him, when asked he said that Victor Abiamiri, Kevin Curtis, and especially rookie TE Brent Celek had all stood out to him. Celek is getting alot of praise not only from coaches but really whoever has gone to camp. He's gotten most of the first team snaps with LJ Smith on the sidelines recovering from sports hernia surgery.
Nick Fierro from the Express-Times thinks LB Stewart Bradley has earned himself some playing time. He also got a gem of a quote from Sean Considine, "You can't play football at 198 pounds in this league, so hopefully I've learned my lesson."
Takeo Spikes has cautioned Brian Dawkins to take it easy with his Achilles tendinitis. Spikes said he has the same injury before his Achilles actually ruptured. Dawkins has been doing alot of sprinting and working out at camp, but hasn't actually practiced yet.
Quintin Mikell understands the responsibility of replacing Dawkins should he need to.
