Vick pleads guilty; Holcomb to Falcons?

News just broke that Mike Vick has agreed to plead guilty to federal dog fighting charges. How much jail time will be involved is at this point unclear, but it's pretty safe to assume that we won't be seeing Mike Vick on a football field at least this year and probably next.

So what does that mean for the Birds? Inside the Iggles found this note from ESPN's Len Pasquarelli

Falcons | Could look to add veteran quarterback

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Atlanta Falcons may look to acquire a veteran quarterback. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported the team had inquired about the availability of Philadelphia Eagles backup QB Kelly Holcomb.

ESPN's John Clayton has also stated the Minnesota is also interested in Holcomb. Feel free to share any of your thoughts on Vick and his future in this thread. If you're interested in the Falcons' perspective, check out our sister Falcon's site The Falcoholic.
