Yes, Ike is back... but not on the field. In the booth.
The Eagles Friday announced they have named Ike Reese as Eagles Television Network's color analyst for their preseason broadcasts in 2007. Reese replaces Ron Jaworski, who is now broadcasting ESPN's slate of preseason and regular season games.
"We are happy to bring Ike back to be part of the team," said Eagles president Joe Banner. "We know he will bring the same energy to the broadcast that he brought to the locker room."
The Eagles Television Network is basically the name given to the team's local production of its preseason games. I suppose this means that Ike is officially retired?
