Kids' Camp Ends

Rookies and selected veterans reported to camp on Friday and have been working until this morning, but the full team is due in to Lehigh today. So I figured this would be a good opportunity to check in on what some of the kids were up to before the big guys showed up.

RBs Nate Ilaoa and Tony Hunt got virtually all of the snaps over the weekend and "Nasti Nate" as he's called didn't look fit enough. In the second half of two a days he was getting visibly gassed.

LB Stewart Bradley got a crash course in the middle linebacker spot this weekend. Bradley was drafted out of Nebraska as a strong side LB. Jim Johnson says he'd like Bradley to learn both spots.

Kevin Kolb has been throwing the deep ball well, most notably to Jeremy Bloom who has reportedly caught everything near him and has been running by defenders.

Alot of Eagles coaches have their eyes on Chris Gocong. So far, Andy Reid says he feels comfortable with Gocong out there starting.

Is DE Victor Abiamiri a man child in the making?

G Cobb noted that the Eagles were a bit short on players before veterans had to show up and had to cut their practices a little short. He seemed surprised that even some guys who missed all of last year hadn't shown up to camp although he didn't name names...
