McNabb's back already.
McNabb made all the throws and even ran once, looking comfortable. After about 20 minutes, he headed back inside for more treatment. Practice is still ongoing and it's not clear whether McNabb will continue to practice during the next three days of this camp, which is technically a voluntary OTA and not a mandatory minicamp, although the Eagles have all signed players here and working.
"He looked great," offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said. "You couldn't tell he was hurt."
McNabb hasn't practiced since the day he was hauled off the field against the Titans. This offseason we've all heard the rumors that McNabb may or may not be ready for camp or he may or may not he ready to start the season. It would seem those questions have been answered.
It worries me a little to hear that he's out there running and what not, but the fact is like any of us out there I don't know what I'm talking about. I have to assume that Andy Reid, the Eagle trainers and McNabb's doctors would not have allowed him out there if he was risking aggravating the knee.
Reid even went on to say he had to make McNabb leave the field because he wanted to stay out for more reps.
