I don't know. I just don't know. At first I hated it... now I might understand it. I don't think he was shot as some have said, I think it just left the rest up to our imagination. His life is a microcosm of that last scene. At any minute there could be a plot to kill him and it could come from anywhere, at any minute he could be arrested. Every moment everything or nothing could happen.
