Seems to me like Donovan has been listening to the media's advice on proper speaking etiquette concerning Mr. Kolb. He was "shocked" just like we all were, the "important thing is to be healthy", etc., etc.
I think it is a bit over-the-top for him to say that he's going to help and work with Kolb, with everything I've heard about quarterbacks and mentors mixing like oil and water. If Elway, Montana and Favre wouldn't do it, I doubt Donovan will, either. Nevertheless, it's nice to see that he's decided to speak, and honestly, let's hope he's spot-on when he says that Kolb could be sitting for the next 4 to 5 years. That would mean a nice big helping of Super Bowl.
