Update [2007-3-11 14:16:58 by BleedGreen]: The latest reports are that Fowler has signed the Eagles' offer sheet. It's a four-year deal worth about $10.5 million. Quite a raise... He chose the Eagles over the Titans "Tennessee was very competitive with Philadelphia. The offers were identical," agent Alan Herman said. "But in the end, Ryan decided to go to Philadelphia, because he thought that would be a better situation for him."
BTW, Fowler will make more money than Stallworth will this year.
The Cowboys will have an opportunity to match the deal since Fowler is a restricted free agent, however since he was undrafted they would not be due any compensation if they don't match. Fowler has said he does not want to return to Dallas where he wouldn't have a chance to start, and it's likely that Dallas therefore would not match.
The Cowboys would have 7 days to match.
Other reports are saying that since Stallworth is gone the Eagles will make a real push to sign Rams WR Kevin Curtis, who they visited with on Friday. Also, fresh rumors are surfacing that the Eagles are interested in Colt's safety Mike Doss.
