Fun fact for you... Philadelphia has won two of the past three meetings to help the Eagles cut the Dolphins' overall series lead to 7-4.
Prediction: Eagles 27, Dolphins 13 - Like I said earlier this week, my level of confidence in this game scares me. The Eagles aren't even a .500 team, have only really played one good complete game all year and yet I can't see a way they can lose this game. Hopefully the Eagles don't feel the same way I do and so far they've been saying the right things. The Dolphins really aren't as bad as their record suggests and they've played some teams very tight. The key on defense is obviously going to be stopping the run. With a rookie QB starting his first game today it's likely the Phins aren't going to put too much on his shoulders. If we can stop the run and force them to pass, that's when we can bring pressure and try to confuse the young QB.
On offense, the big question is whether Brian Westbrook will play. He's listed as questionable, but earlier this week Andy Reid said the swelling in his knee was minor and he was confident #36 would play. The Dolphins are ranked second from bottom in the NFL in stopping the run so expect to see a heavy dose of whoever lines up behind McNabb.
Just a site note... I woke up this morning feeling pretty sick and will probably watch this game from my bed... So I probably won't be able to give my immediate thoughts and headlines following this one. So you guys use this as your open thread for all you pre and post game thoughts as well anything you want during the game.
