Army/Navy "Land of the free, home of the game"

I know this is an Eagles blog, but I'd be remiss if I didn't at least mention the 107th playing of the Army v Navy game this weekend, an absolute Philadelphia football tradition.

Even though they play in the Linc and no longer in the aptly named Veteran's Stadium, the game still holds a tremendous significance in the city every year. Navy, who come in as the favorites, is going for it's fourth straight win in this historic rivalry. I encourage everyone to check out the game if a you get a chance and certainly keep in the back of your mind the brave guys overseas not able to play football. Here's hoping to a great game and a safe, speedy return for their brethren overseas.

By the way, I got an email from the people at Lincoln Financial Field saying that they had released some extra tickets for the game that are available on ticketmaster.
