Finally some injury news and does Andy read BGN?

Thanks to Dire Radiant for the heads up on this

Receiver Donte Stallworth participated in Wednesday's walk-through and the coaches will see what he do in the afternoon workout. However, offensive tackle William Thomas will miss practice due to back spasms and cornerback Rod Hood remains sidelined with a heel strain.

Good news there. The passing attack has obviously not suffered too bad without Stallworth, but any guy with his talent and playmaking ability can only be a plus.

Plus, Andy seemed to indicate that they were going to try out something we suggested(not that I'm vain enough to act like they didn't decide this on their own...), which was not to bench Lewis... but to platoon him.

At strong safety, head coach Andy Reid indicated that veteran strong safety Michael Lewis and Sean Considine will share the responsibilities at the position.

"We're going to mix and match some things," Reid said. "We're doing packages with both the guys, so they're both going to play."

Even though he wouldn't further explain what situations you'll see each guy in I tink it's fairly obvious. Considine is going to be there on clear passing downs and Lewis will still probably get most of the snaps with the base defense especially on 1st down. Despite everything we've said about him, Lewis is still fntastic in run support and he'll more than likely be in on short yardage plays.
