Alright, just wanted to see what you guys thought about how far the Cowboys could make it this year, so I threw together this poll. Lemme know your thoughts. Personally, I think they have a very solid shot at making the playoffs but losing in the wildcard round. They have a pretty solid team, and they should at least beat out the Redskins and the Giants, which should be good enough for a wildcard spot.

It's a field with little to no accountability. You can blindly speculate just about whatever you want, and no one will call you out when you're flat out wrong, as long as you're occasionally right.

Last year the Giants won the Superbowl. No one in the media saw that coming. Hell, I don't know if anyone with an audience of more than 20 people had the Giants winning a playoff game.

Right now everyone's saying the Eagles should've traded Lito (for what?) The Eagles shouldn't have traded away their first round pick (and taken who? Don't forget, that player has to be better than a first, second, and fourth round pick). The Eagles didn't do enough to improve their team this offseason (Why didn't Andy Reid trade Lito and every draft pick this year for someone else's headache?). Donovan McNabb will be gone after this season (again!). The Eagles will be going through the rebuilding process very soon.

All that being said, I have Donovan McNabb leading the Raiders to a Superbowl victory over the Falcons. Freddie Mitchell will have 140 yards receiving in that game, and will be awarded the Superbowl MVP. Eagles will sign TO as a free agent. The Eagles will then trade their 1st round pick, the 1st from Carolina, and the 1st from the Raiders (from the McNabb trade) to the Browns for Brady Quinn and a box of Indians hats. The Eagles will win the Superbowl in 2009, lead by Brady Quinn and TO.

The league's defensive player of the year in 2006 and Man of the Year last season, Taylor also wants to win a Super Bowl. However, he knows it's an extreme long shot to happen in Miami at this point. Fact is, there's only so much time left and so little talent on the Miami roster.

That's why the Dolphins should not rule out the possibility of a trade. There are plenty of teams that could use Taylor, such as the Browns, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers and even the New York Giants (depending on whether Michael Strahan retires).

What is Taylor worth? Some teams like to throw around second- and third-round picks. But the reality is that Taylor, if he's committed to playing for two more years, is worth as much as a low first-round pick. Would Jacksonville, which has the No. 26 overall pick and is in good position to compete for a title, and Philadelphia, which has the No. 19 pick and competes in the same division with the Super Bowl champion Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, swap their first-round positions for a proven veteran like Taylor? Who knows?

Basically, the article talks about how Taylor is a elite veteran who may consider retirement instead of continuing to play for a crappy team.

Trading for a guy as old as Taylor may be a bit risky, but it's hard to argue with his production and leadership. A move like this seems more like something the Patriots would do. Maybe we should consider ripping a page from their book? Seems to be working.

blah blah blah same crap about how the Eagles "window of opportunity is closing" and how they need to win now or they'll have to "rebuild".

It's funny they keep saying that considering 1) we're one of the younger teams of the NFL 2) they already have a Plan B for McNabb 3) they always restock on linemen in the draft so we don't have to worry too much about Runyan and Thomas.

I mean, our only real concern is that we don't have yet have a guy that we're confident can come in and replace Dawkins, but who are we kidding? Thems some big shoes to fill.

It's hard to tell what's really going on with these guys, lemme tell you. They like to adamantly deny stuff we hear from sources that have been good before.

The Eagles weren't quite finished making news after landing Asante Friday.

ESPN.com has learned that Clemons reached a Friday night contract agreement. He and agent Don Henderson will fly to Philadelphia on Saturday to sign the contract, details of which were not yet available.
