On Wednesday, with Jarrad Page limited during practice with a stinger suffered against the Bills, Jarrett split snaps with second-year pro Kurt Coleman at strong safety. Coleman took the majority of the snaps with the defense and appears to be on track to start against the Redskins.
"I’ll leave that to the coaches," Coleman said smiling. "We’ll see."
Coleman was patient and it paid off. Jarrett will have to be patient too, because while he took some reps with the first team, he likely won’t be the guy.

Notice how they have to pretend Page isn't starting next week because of a "stinger". Apparently when asked about it Page said he felt fine so I guess he didn't get the memo there. Once again we see the arrogance of the coaching staff-- refusing to admit mistakes.
The Bears recently announced that BOTH of their starting safeties would be benched this weekend because straight up: they played like shit against the Lions. No pulled punches over there.
