Randy Moss deal not done?

Of all the crazy, hard to believe stories that fly around during free agency... this one might take the cake. Ron Jaworski was on Sports Radio 950 in Philadelphia this afternoon and claimed that sources have told him that Randy Moss has not signed a contract with the Patriots yet. Apparently some of the things that were verbally agreed to were not in the final deal and that there could be problems now. Jaws then guessed that if Moss got upset with the Patriots, he could go back the Eagles who reportedly had made him a higher offer than the Pats over the weekend.

This one sounds like a real stretch, but that's the offseason for you... Check out what Jaws had to say and decide for yourself.

Update [2008-3-7 16:32:19 by JasonB]: PFT says the Moss deal is done and filed with the league office and Jaws has no clue what he's talking about. Sounds about right.

Jaws

I like Jaws when he is talking Xs and Os, but he might have taken the bait a bit on this one. Randy Moss is not going anywhere--but Jaws did manage to stir all of Eagles nation into a frenzy for nothing.

happen to see PFT saying Jaws is just trying to take shots at the Pats because Belichick and Brady didn't show at the Maxwell Awards .... sounds like a bunch of B.S. to me. The word is that Randy recieved the contract via fax and signed it but didn't fax it back or something along those lines. It was just a misunderstanding and nothing more, plus Jaws probably got a little excited about the possibility of Randy coming to town as any of us would have done the same.

Ron Jaworski is an idiot

I usually refrain from even speaking about Ron Jaworski but this one got me going. Ron Jaworski the deal is done and signed he is not coming to philadelphia. you can want him to come all you want but its not going to happen. when i read this article and then heard ron jaworski talking i thought it was a joke. this guy should get his facts straight...for this guy to come out and say this it makes hime look like he has no brain
