Worst superbowl team

Football Outsiders is right about the Giants being the worst Super Bowl team ever, but wrong about the year - the 2000 team was absolutely the worst I've ever seen, although ESPN managed to somehow rank the 2003 Panthers and 1979 Rams below them.

SB Teams

The 2000 Giants' team was bad. I'd take this team over them, and the 2003 Panthers team over them both.

In the 90's, the SB-29 Chargers and the SB-33 Falcons were both pretty "eh".

The reason we struggle placing this season's Giants' squad is because we know how terrible they can be. At times this year they couldn't get out of their own way. But they also have tremendous playmakers on both sides of the football, so when things are going right they are obviously pretty good.

how Stephen A Smith has a blog now. It's ironic that he was fired and regaled to the confines of a "simple-minded blog" only mere weeks after saying all bloggers are poor writers that destroy the character of professional sportscasters such as himself.
