The Best Part of the Giants' Run
Does anyone else take great joy from the fact that the Giants have made their run without these two guys?

Seriously, were there two more annoying Giants than Tiki Barber and Jeremy Shockey? I also kinda got a kick out of Michael Strahan, Eli Manning is mostly just kind of there, and there really aren't any other personalities on the team that ever rubbed me either way. The two real villains and the guys that always seemed to come up big against the Eagles have been Shockey & Tiki. I suppose you could put Burress on that list, but for whatever reason he's never been the face of the Giants like Shockey and Barber have.
So I take some solace that somewhere Tiki Barber is probably gritting his teeth that the Giants made the superbowl the year after he retires and that Jeremy Shockey will be watching from the sidelines in what may well be his last game as a member of the team.

Go Pats!
The Giants win, and we've got every fan of our division rivals shoving it in our face every minute of every day that the Eagles haven't won a superbowl.
Plus, I really decided while watching the Giants/Cowboys game (during which I wholeheartedly rooted for the Giants) that I thought both teams seemed like bunches of assholes.

Meh.
I know that about 90% of other fans think that I'm crazy to want the Giants to win this but what can I say, I hate the Pats more than them even though the Giants are our division rivals. Still, that doesn't make me any less of an eagles fan.

Go, gulp Patriots
I like they way you said that. It would suck if the Giants won.
Because Giants fans are assholes and idiots. I don't need to hear it from all these fake ass Giant fans.
When the Giants played Baltimore they all came out. Then the lost and havn't done too well. They all vanished and I like when they are quiet.
Plus It's rare for me too see such good coahing. I like Billacheats coaching style. Do whatever it takes. Take what they give you.

Becuase of History...
In fact I hope its a friggin blowout and Eli throws like 5 picks. The Giants are the worst team to be in SB in years! Basically the entire NFC collapsed in the playoffs.
on the other hand, even if you hate NE (and I do)... going undefeated is insane. You have to respect that.

79 Rams
One can only hope we are about to see an epic Super Bowl blowout like the 2002 Bucs, 2000 Ravens, 1994 49ers, 1993 Cowboys, 1989 49ers, and 1985 Bears threw down. I can't wait to see Eli meltdown and throw 4 picks and Coughlin explode on the sideline. Its unfortunate that Brady and the Patriots have to be the beneficiaries of it, but so be it.

I don't know why people find it so hard to grasp..
No one is forcing you to root for anyone. Take the time you would spend trying to make the impossible decision of trying to pick between these two teams and think about what you are going to eat on superbowl sunday. If you NEED to root for a team against which you have rooted in the same season to make the superbowl fun for you, then you need to get better friends.
Sorry for the rant.

[If you NEED to root for a team against which you have rooted in the same season to make the superbowl fun for you, then you need to get better friends.]
See here in the NFL we do this thing called betting, you may have heard of it, it's where you - get this - choose a team to win, but not the other team at the same time, just one team. If you chose both teams then you'd just be foolish since you're only supposed to choose one. But get this, it makes a game that's NOT interesting because it doesn't have your team (my team, the Eagles (E...A...G...L...E...S...EAGLES!)) MORE interesting because now there's money (or favors) riding on it! And you can do it with your friends, real friends, not just stuffed animals and homeless people that I convince to come over with promises of Thunderbird and funyuns.
yes, I'm picking the giants to win the game because the payoff is bigger if they win (I hate playing a spread) and the "PURSUIT OF PERFECTION" would be smashed with a record of 18-1. That's precious to me.
Not sorry for the rant.

Who cares as long as the Giants lose

Agian, I can't say it any better. The Eagles have had some playoff success in recent years. I still hear that we have no superbowl rings. So playoff wins and superbowl apperances don't mean shit compared to a superbowl ring.
