Tommy McDonald is the coolest.
(Seriously -- he's the nicest former pro athlete I ever met. He was at an event I went to at the linc, and as the thing was winding down he was chatting with Ray Didinger and Gary Cobb, and I went up and asked for an autograph. He must have talked to me for 10 minutes, and insisted that my wife and I try on his hall of fame and championship rings. He just could not have been any friendlier.)
