Dawkins with a C on his chest?

Marvel at my amazing photoshop skills
I have to admit, I do find this somewhat intriguing...

Th NFL's Player Advisory Council made up of current Eagles Takeo Spikes and former Eagles James Thrash and Troy Vincent presented an interesting idea to the commissioner to better recognize and emphasize the role of team captains.

The thought seems to be in many ways to use the team captains much like the NHL does as not only leaders of the team but the as the off field face of the franchise as well.

Several ideas are being discussed, including captain identification on game uniforms; an annual meeting with the commissioner to discuss player issues; community service led by the captains; team and league recognition initiatives; team press conferences to announce captains; increased publicity efforts by teams and the league; participation of captains in player introductions; regular captains meetings with players and the head coach; and captains to assist in on-field communications with game officials.

The idea that interested me was the idea of "captain identification on game uniforms." Personally, I think it would be cool to see the team led out of the tunnel by a star veteran player with C on his chest. I suppose it's obvious who I'd pick, but who would you prefer to see the C on? I put up a new poll on the left.

At the very least, the idea would certainly sell alot of new jerseys with a C on them...

Great idea
I love that idea. They do it in a lot of other sports, and football is one of the most team orientated sports out there. Dawkins is the only man on that team right now who deserves it.

disagree...
Mcnabb should captain the offensive side of the ball... they should come up with something other than a C though... pick something different.

I think it would even be cool...
too have the captain of the team come out of the tunnel before everyone else... like say with dawkins, it would be cool if he came out and did his crazy stuff all by himself... and then boom the fireworks go off and out come the team
