Gator OLB Lawrence Timmons

A guy ranked by many experts as the best or 2nd best OLB in the draft this year is Lawrence Timmons out of Florida. He was expected to be gone long before the Eagles picked at #26 in the first round. However, thanks to a bad combine workout his stock is reportedly falling fast.

His 40 time was well below what most people expected and he apparently measured 2 inches shorter than he was listed at.

This could change with workouts at his pro day and individual workouts with teams, but it seems like a guy who was a top 15 prospect at OLB could drop to the Eagles at #26 or possibly even into the 2nd round.

The question is whether this bad workout scares off the Eagles? Is this guy not the player everyone thought he was or was it just a poor workout that could drop a really good player down to a good team?
