Fantasy Football Week 11 Rankings
This Weeks’s Bold Prediction: Frank Gore will start but have less than 7 fantasy points while Kendall Hunter will have over 14. QB: Alex Smith: If you are a Big Ben, Drew Brees or a Matt Schaub owner desperate for a bye week fill-in Alex Smith could be your guy. The cardinals secondary gives up the 11st most points to QBs and that’s only because of the eagles performance last week (was inside top 3 before). Smith should have a nice game and between 13-17 fantasy points. RB: Maurice Morris: With Stafford’s hand banged up I wouldn’t be surprised to see more running than usual this week for the Lions. Carolina gives the most points to fantasy RBs. That combination should get Morris around 80 yards and a score. WR: Denarius Moore: Coming off a monster week and now gets the Antonio Winfield less Vikings secondary. Moore should get at least 1 score and 100 yards. TE: Ed Dickson: He’s been one of those players who I keep saying will become good and finally last week he did. Cincy is a good defense so I don’t expect him to be as dominant but his number of targets especially in the red zone is enough for me to say he gets 50 yards and a score. Fantasy Football Preview Week 9
Hey everyone, I apologize about last week I had no power and couldn’t rank everyone or do the write-up. Here are this week’s ranks and sleepers
This Week’s Sleeper Picks
QB: Matt Cassel: Miami is ranked 31st in points given up to opposing QBs and Cassel has showed the ability to beat up bad defenses (16 vs Min and 27 vs Indy). If your in need a bye week filler I think he has a nice day.
RB: Brandon Jacobs: Bradshaw isn’t playing this weekend and teams against the Pats have had success running the ball. Jacobs should have 80 total yards and a score making him a nice #2 RB this week.
WR: Darrius Heyward-Bey: Before the bye DHB had 4 straights weeks with over 80 yards receiving. The bye should help him and Carson’s chemistry and he should have a solid game versus the 30th ranked bronco secondary.
TE: Brent Celek: Celek has been a major focus of the eagles offense the past 2 weeks and against the bears who are worst in the NFL covering the TE his streak should continue. I think Celek gets around 60 yards with a good shot at a TD.

Fantasy Football Rankings Week 7
Hey everyone, I apologize for last week again. It was a bad week for me but I'm better this week and hopefully I can help you win your fantasy football matchup.
Anyway, enough about me here's my weekly picks.
This Week's Bold Prediction: Get ready to be "shanahanned"again. Everyone is projecting Ryan Torain to be the lead back for the redskins but Tim Hightower will have the best day of any Redskins RB.
This Week's Sleeper Picks:
QB: Colt McCoy: Colt has been very consistent this year not scoring lower than 13 in any games this year. This week he gets a horrendous Seahawk secondary and with no Peyton Hills look for the Browns to throw a ton. Colt McCoy is a nice sneaky play this week.
RB: Jackie Battle: He looked great against he colts and will be getting a number of carries being the lead back for the Chiefs. Against the 29th run defense look for Battle to have 100 and at least 1 score.
WR: Percy Harvin: Why do I keep believing? Each week I talk about him and hes yet to prove me right. Last week though I saw something between Ponder and him in the 4th quarter and in a game that the Viking will be down and need to throw Harvin could have 100 yards and maybe a score.
TE: Ed Dickson: He is getting the targets now he needs to produce. Against a Jags D that has been killed by the TEs 4 weeks already (16 to the Jets, 16 to the Panthers, 19 to the Saints and 8 to the Bengals) Dickson could have a nice game.
Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 6
Hey everyone,
Sorry for these not being up until now I lost internet for all of yesterday and have a ton of other homework to do.
Position by Position Rankings after the Jump
Eagles Fantasy Football Starts Of The Week
Any fantasy football player remembers what Michael Vick did against the Redskins last year. He accounted for five TDs and more or less single-handedly won every fantasy matchup he was a part of that week. But what about the rest of the Eagles playmakers? Who might make for good starts this week?
In six career games against Washington, DeSean Jackson has caught 12 passes for 249 yards, rushed 7 times for 123 yards (1 TD) and has a punt return TD. He's obviously had some monster games vs the Skins in his career. Jeremy Maclin has 15 catches for 210 yards and a TD in four career games against Washington. So while he hasn't had the dynamic numbers Jackson has had against Washington, he is actually trailing only Wes Welker in catches this year. So especially if you're in a PPR league, Maclin is in the midst of a very productive year.
LeSean McCoy is an obvious start every week, but he's also been solid against the Redskins in four career games. He's rushed for 220 yards and caught 26 passes for 216 yards. That's good for over 109 yards of production per game.
Not that anyone would be starting Brent Celek and his 9 total catches this year... but he hasn't had great numbers against Washington with only 13 catches in 8 games.
Buy Low and Sell High for Week 6
Hey everyone, I want to add a second post a week that will discuss various things. I have a few ideas for this and I wanted to test them out and see how they were received. The post is all about Buy low and sell high. Its a simple concept that is often misunderstood. Selling high isnt about trading say Cam Newton or Stevie Johnson who are playing very well. Its more about trading players who's value has skyrocketed for a certain reason or situation and you believe cant keep it up. Buying low is much simpler to understand. Its about seeing which players in your eyes have underperformed and for the rest of the way will have higher value than he has when you traded for him. So without further ado, here is the first buy low sell high post of the year.
Fantasy Football Rankings Week 5
Hey everyone hope all is well, sorry for not posting my rankings until this late but since today was Yom Kippur I had a lot of commitments and didn’t have any time until this late. Result: Finally I nailed my bold prediction. Foster was a beast last week scoring a TD and having over 150 yards rushing. This Week’s Bold Prediction: Two Top 10 WRs, Stevie Johnson and Wes Welker, both get shut down by elite CBs having under 60 yards and 0 scores. Last Week’s Sleeper Picks: QB: Jason Campbell- Threw for over 340 yards but threw only 1 TD. Campbell had 15 points that isn’t a bad game by any means. Overall, I think this was a good sleeper for anyone who used him. RB: Arian Foster- Nailed it. I already discussed Foster above and how dominant he was last week. WR: David Nelson- Wrong. For all of my good calls, this had to be one of my worst. 2 catches for 18 yards on only 3 targets. Not sure what happened here and I'm curious to see how Nelson plays against the Eagles on Sunday. TE: Ed Dickson- While he may not have had the greatest game from a fantasy point of view I think this was an overall positive for Dickson. He was targeted 12 times and I look for him to have better games as the season progress. This Week’s Sleeper Picks: QB: Curtis Painter- I think he is a sneaky start this week. KC isn’t a very good pass D and Painter has played well in his first 2 starts and should score between 14-17 points. RB: Isaac Redman- I think Mendenhall sits out this week and Redman is a good waiver wire start. Tennessee doesn’t have a bad run defense so I don’t see Redman going off however I do see 80-90 yards and a TD making him a fine #2 or great flex. WR: Percy Harvin: He has been underwhelming so far fantasy wise scoring only once on a kick return. So while this may not seem like a sleeper I see him being benched in way too many leagues. Harvin has a great matchup against Arizona and I see him scoring not once but twice this week. TE: Clay Harbor: The past 2 weeks Buffalo has been killed by the TE giving up 180 yards and 3 scores. I think this game is a shootout and don’t be surprised if Harbor catches one of the TDs. Position by Position Rankings after the Jump
Fantasy Football Rankings Week 4
Hey everyone, hope all is well. Here is your weekly fantasy football preview:
Last Week's Bold Prediction: Two QBs that went undrafted in most leagues, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Rex Grossman, both throw for over 300 yards and at least 2 scores finishing in the top 10 for Fantasy QBs this week. Result: I was correct about Fitzpatrick torching the Pats but Sexy Rex let me down against the Cowboys. This Week’s Bold Prediction: Arian Foster, coming off two nagging hamstring injuries, shows how healthy he is by rushing for over 120 yards and getting at least 1 score. Last Week's Sleeper Picks: QB: Matt Hasselbeck- He had 18 points and broke 300 yards and threw a pair of scores. I think he is playing very well but the loss of Britt makes him unstartable in 10 or 12 team leagues. RB: Dexter McCluster- He had only 5 points with 17 receiving yards on 5 receptions and had 9 carries for 45 yards. I think in PPR leagues hes a low-end #2 or flex but in standard leagues I couldn’t feel comfortable playing him any higher than a flex and maybe not even that. WR: Deion Branch- Wow was I wrong. When I was looking through the box scores Sunday Night and I saw how many points the Pats put up I thought Branch had a big game instead he did nothing. I would still consider this more a result of Welker’s play and think Branch will be fine in the future. TE: Jared Cook- Wrong again. 2 targets 12 yards. Ouch. Cook should be cut in all leagues. Maybe the loss of Britt helps him some but he isn’t showing anything that makes me feel confident. This Week’s Sleeper Picks: QB: Jason Campbell- Pats D isn’t playing well and don’t be surprised if the Raiders pull the upset behind a big game from the Raiders Offense. RB: Arian Foster- This isn’t technically a sleeper but I see a lot of people low on him this week. Foster has reportedly looked great and Kubiak has said he is going to be substantially involved in the game on Sunday. Foster should be started in every league this weekend. WR: David Nelson- The Bills offense has looked great this season and David Nelson has been a big reason why. Nelson has had 14 and 8 points the past two weeks with 16 catches during that timespan. I expect this steak to continue versus the Bengals. TE: Ed Dickson - He has more talent than most TEs but has yet to put it together. But he has had 5 catches in 2 of the first 3 weeks and while I don’t expect him to became the next Antonio Gates overnight, I do think he will play well this week.
