The Philadelphia Eagles selected Oregon State offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo with the No. 79 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. It cannot be pointed out enough how he's the first offensive lineman the Birds have drafted since 2013.
If you want my opinion, which you totally do, this is a nice pick for the Birds. It's not exciting. It's not some great move to get all fired up about. It just seems like a real solid addition in the third round.
Seumalo has good size. He's athletic and very versatile. He can compete for a starting job at left guard right now. If he doesn't win out there, then he'll be a good backup to have at multiple positions in the short-term. Then he can take over at guard or even center in the future.
Now we turn it over to you. Remember, overreacting isn't just fun; it's mandatory. It's time for you to weigh in on why is this the best/worst pick of all time. Tell us how you really feel and vote in the poll below.
