The Philadelphia Eagles announced their game day inactives in advance of their game against the Green Bay Packers.
INACTIVE
The following players are officially out and will not play:
TE Zach Ertz
OLB Marcus Smith
ILB Emmanuel Acho
CB JaCorey Shepherd
None of these come as a surprise. Ertz is out for the entire preseason after having surgery on a core muscle injury. He's expected back in time for the regular season. Smith suffered a hamstring strain and might be ready for the regular season as well.
Acho was reportedly waived/injured a few days ago, but the team hasn't officially confirmed the move yet.
Shepherd is expected to be placed on injured reserve this week.
ACTIVE
Everyone else is active, including these noteworthy players:
Sam Bradford is ACTIVE and will start at quarterback. It's unclear how many snaps Bradford will play.
Major Eagles offseason acquisition Kiko Alonso is active. So is fellow inside linebacker DeMeco Ryans.
Andrew Gardner is expected to start at right guard once again.
Josh Huff missed a few days of practice while mourning the loss of his god brother.
UPDATE: Huff isn't warming up with the wide receivers after all.
UPDATE #2: It looks like Alonso might not play after all.
Kiko Alonso now NOT in uniform. Wearing sweats. Uhoh. Entire team warming up. #Eagles pic.twitter.com/gIEYHamTit
