It's been less than 24 hours since the Philadelphia Eagles drafted USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but he's already made a strong first impression in his new home.
The rookie arrived at the NovaCare Complex on Friday afternoon for his introductory media session. Agholor didn't say anything too earth-breaking, but many reporters noted how impressive he was.

"@phillyboy4gzus: Just like Jordan Matthews this kid is extremely well spoken. Can tell he's gonna be a good Pro!!" Agree.

Agholor seemed very soft spoken and a hard worker. Definitely a "culture" fit. #Eagles

Eagles fans are going to enjoy listening to what WR Nelson Agholor has to say. Hope his performance on the field matches his demeanor off it

For the record, and for shameless self-promotion, I shared this same opinion when I first watched him speak last month:
After watching this Nelson Agholor interview, can’t imagine how Chip won’t be all over this guy. https://t.co/RPtEWmr6kF

Nelson's on-field talent has a lot to do with why the Eagles picked him in the first round. He's very good. But his fit into the team's culture was obviously another big reason the team valued him so much.
More from Agholor (who Chip Kelly apparently calls "Nellie"?!) below:
Agholor: Honestly, this is something I wanted for myself (to be an Eagle) ... Wanted to be somewhere that runs things like this.
— Eagles Insider (@EaglesInsider) May 1, 2015
Agholor: Throughout pre-draft process, thought everyone I dealt with from the Eagles was so genuine.
— Eagles Insider (@EaglesInsider) May 1, 2015
Agholor: Lot of excitement to be part of a young nucleus of receivers ... They made it very clear that we're all going to work together.
— Eagles Insider (@EaglesInsider) May 1, 2015
Nelson Agholor said Josh Huff and Jordan Matthews have already reached out to him to offer congratulations and welcome him to the Eagles.

And perhaps the quote of the day:
.@nelsonagholor: "my high school coach always told me 'maintaining is just a form of regression.' you try to get better every day."
