The Philadelphia Eagles made a number of mistakes in their 27-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night Football. They made more mistakes than I can count off the top of my head. One of those mistakes involved a missed field goal by Caleb Sturgis. After hitting a kick from 52 yards out earlier in the night, a Sturgis attempt from 50 yards went wide left. While it's easy to blame the kicker for the miss due to his previous struggles, Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos wants you to know he takes responsibility for the miss.
The miss from 50 was my fault. I rushed the snap before Donnie & @CalebSturgis1 were ready. Kills me to let them 2 down. You 2 played well.

The Eagles lost by more than just a field goal, so who really cares in the end, but kudos to Dorenbos for publicly taking accountability here.
