The New York Giants could very well be without starting cornerback Prince Amukamara when the team plays the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. According to several reports, Amukamara suffered an injury during New York's Week 5 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

New York's pass defense currently ranks 20th by Football Outsiders. The Giants allow 7.0 yards per pass attempt, which ranks tied for 18th in the NFL. Being without one of their top defensive players clearly isn't ideal.
Amukamara is hardly the only significant player to be missing from the Giants. Wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Reuben Randle are both dealing with hamstring injuries suffered in Week 5. Victor Cruz isn't expected to play. The Eagles might be able to take advantage of a hurting Giants team.
