Eagles Fans and the Short Quarterback leash

I live out of town and found a nice Philly bar to watch Sunday's game against the Jags. The bar was filled with 95% Eagles fans with a few Pats and Bears fans thrown in there randomly. You can imagine the scene in the first half as Foles fumbled and fumbled and almost fumbled on what felt like every single drive. On a play late in the second quarter, one of the few where Foles didn't fumble, he was hit awkwardly and his knee buckled underneath him. For the next few plays he walked with a noticeable limp. The camera panned over to Mark Sanchez dusting off his helmet (literally, like he was pulling an old dusty book off the shelf) and throwing warm up passes on the sideline. When this happened, guess the reaction of the fans at the bar? They cheered! Some guy yelled, "Get Sanchize in there!"

This didn't shock me in the least, I actually laughed. I'm guessing it wouldn't have shocked most Eagles fans. It got me thinking, is there any fan base in the league that has a shorter leash for their quarterbacks than the Eagles fans? I mean you'd never see Patriots fans cheering for Tom Brady's replacement, even if he was playing horribly. I know Foles isn't Brady, but it was the first half of the first game and he's coming off a pro bowl season. I remember when McNabb would have one of his games, you know the ones, smiling after three-and-outs, throwing balls in the dirt and laughing as the Eagles got their asses kicked. We all hated him then, and even after six pro bowl seasons, we would cheer for them to put in Garcia, or Feely or Koy Detmer (God have mercy on us). I'm not old enough to remember, but I've heard stories about how fans didn't truly appreciate Cunningham or Jaworski till they were gone. So I ask again, do Eagles fan's have the shortest leash for their quarterbacks?

I can offer a couple other contenders: Bear's fans, Brown's fans, Redskin's fans and Dolphin fans. What do you think?
