The most recent version of 2015 Super Bowl odds come to us via the LVH Sportsbook. Let's take a look at how the Eagles' chances stack up prior to the start of NFL training camp.
According to the LVH Sportsbook, the Eagles currently have the 9th best Super Bowl odds at 20/1. That's an improvement over the longer 25/1 odds the Eagles faced when bets opened. It's also an improvement of where Bovada.lv had the Eagles in early May at 22/1.
2015 Super Bowl XLIX Odds (Top 9 teams)
Team | Current | Open |
---|---|---|
Seattle Seahawks | 5/1 | 6/1 |
Denver Broncos | 5/1 | 6/1 |
San Francisco 49ers | 7/1 | 7/1 |
New England Patriots | 8/1 | 12/1 |
Green Bay Packers | 12/1 | 15/1 |
New Orleans Saints | 14/1 | 15/1 |
Cincinnati Bengals | 18/1 | 18/1 |
Indianapolis Colts | 18/1 | 25/1 |
Philadelphia Eagles | 20/1 | 25/1 |
I'm not sure I'd have the Bengals and the Colts above the Eagles here but at least it's close. Then again, the Colts do play in a pretty terrible division... and yes, it's even worse than the NFC East.
2015 Super Bowl XLIX Odds (NFC Top 5)
Team | Current | Open |
---|---|---|
Seattle Seahawks | 5/1 | 6/1 |
San Francisco 49ers | 7/1 | 7/1 |
Green Bay Packers | 12/1 | 15/1 |
New Orleans Saints | 14/1 | 15/1 |
Philadelphia Eagles | 20/1 | 25/1 |
The Eagles have pretty much consistently been pegged as the fifth best team in the NFC this offseason. The Seahawks and Niners are on a tier of their own at the top. The Packers are flirting with that Tier 1 but could also fall into the Tier 2 category with New Orleans and Philadelphia.
2015 Super Bowl XLIX Odds (NFC East)
Team | Current | Open |
---|---|---|
Philadelphia Eagles | 20/1 | 25/1 |
New York Giants | 40/1 | 30/1 |
Dallas Cowboys | 50/1 | 30/1 |
Washington Redskins | 50/1 | 30/1 |
No surprise to see the Eagles at the top of the NFC East. They're the only team here that's seen their odds improve since bets opened. All other NFC East teams saw their odds at winning it all get longer.
