NBA Draft 2014: A Big Night for Philadelphia

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

I know what you're thinking. First a World Cup thread for the USA/GER game, now a basketball thread? Is BGN even a Philadelphia Eagles site any more? Well, yes. Yes, it is. But there's really nothing going on during the dread NFL Dead Zone so it's time to get invested in some quality alternatives.

The 2014 NBA Draft takes place tonight at 7 PM on ESPN. It's an especially huge night for Philadelphia's basketball team. The 76ers own picks No. 3 and No. 10 overall along with a billion second round picks. In a draft class that's been heralded to be one of the best in recent years (not unlike the 2014 NFL Draft), the Sixers will have the chance to score some core building blocks for their future. And even if you're not a Sixers fan, there should be plenty of action/rumors/trades/etc. to follow along with it. Sounds fun, right?

Definitely tune in and check out SB Nation Sixers site Liberty Ballers (which I also write for) for all your Sixers draft coverage. I'll be live tweeting from the LB twitter account (@Liberty_Ballers) so give it a follow. You won't regret it.

If LB doesn't float your boat, feel free to this use this post as an open thread and comment here instead.
