Eagles O-line (and Connor Barwin) Party Time

[Ed. Note: Promoted from FanPosts.]

Today Jason Kelce, Todd Herremans, and Connor Barwin came out to Rittenhouse Square park to grill all manner of tasty, sausage-shaped food from Dietz & Watson. Jason was there from 11:30-1:30, with Connor and Todd coming a bit later. The crowds were small, which made it nice and easy to interact with the players. There were multiple rounds of bean bag toss (Jason is ridiculously good at bean bag toss), pictures, and autograph signings. The best part? All free. Even the sausagey meats.

On a personal note, I'm about 5'8, and I felt like a small child compared to these mammoths. I know, they're all 6'2+ and absurdly strong, but it's one thing to see it on TV and from the bleachers, and another when you're shaking their hands and your entire hand is engulfed like a tiny twig. Their Gregor Clegane-like size belies their gentle natures though; Jason was joking and laughing the whole time, and every single person that requested an autograph or picture got one with no complaints. It's probably nice for them to take a break from smashing and destroying to meat some fans. Here's to hoping this becomes an annual summer tradition.
