Rumors, Mysteries and Moves - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Many of you got upset at Jimmy Bama the other day for his column that talked about the Eagles possibly trying to trade DeSean Jackson. Some of you got mad at me for writing about his writing. I can assure you that Jimmy didn’t just make this up to stir the pot and get attention. He studied the moves made by the Eagles and how they affected the roster and payroll. He then wrote about one possible meaning. Jimmy was very reasonable and logical in what he had to say. He also has generally been pretty positive about DeSean in the past. It isn’t as if Jimmy has something against him and is hoping this happens.

Riddick: Eagles Pulling Away From Division - Sheil Kapadia, Birds 24/7
"Philadelphia, quite honestly, is pulling away from the rest of the division as far as their team-building right now," Riddick said. "They’re locking up young players that Chip [Kelly] has identified as being people he wants long-term, whereas the rest of the division is either trying to cut a bunch of dead weight like Dallas and New York, or is a team that’s in constant turmoil like Washington where every year it seems like they’re doing something new and they’re always spinning their wheels. Philly’s pulling away. Chip’s got a good thing going."

DeSean Jackson may be on last legs with Eagles - Geoff Mosher, CSN Philly
According to multiple sources familiar with the team’s thinking, two incidents haven't gone unnoticed by the front office. First, Jackson lobbied for a new contract less than 48 hours after the team’s first-round playoff loss to the Saints. Then shortly thereafter, police in January reported $250,000 in stolen cash and jewelry along with a handgun from the receiver’s South Philadelphia home during a break-in while Jackson was vacationing.

Don't believe the DeSean Jackson rumors - Jeff McLane, Inquirer
The Eagles do not respond to rumors. It wouldn't be in their best interest to feed a reporter this sort of information without attribution - as a "team source" - because refuting speculation would be acknowledging it. But after checking in with almost a dozen sources from around the league, it's clear the Eagles aren't interested in dealing the 27-year-old Jackson - not by a long shot.

Counting Down the Eagles’ Needs: No. 3, Cornerback - Andrew Kulp, The700Level
If Justin Gilbert fell to No. 22, he would be a no-brainer. However, after the Oklahoma State product’s showing at the combine, that seems unlikely. Already considered by some analysts as the best pure cover corner in the draft, Gilbert posted the top time at his position in the 40-yard dash, and was in the top three in most other drills. Michigan State’s Darqueze Dennard could be a name to watch as well in that first round should he slip.

Jeremiah: Roseman Has Done An Excellent Job -
NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah joins our own Chris McPherson at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis to discuss the Eagles recent success in the NFL Draft and who the first round pick could be this May.
