How's everyone doing?
I've done a few mock drafts by this point and if the Eagles are true to their word and draft best player available (BPA), then I've got a hypothetical situation to pose for everyone.
I've gone through a few mock drafts and come pick number 22 there have been some instances where ILB CJ Mosley is still on the board. There have been a few mock drafts where S Calvin Pryor and ILB CJ Mosley are available at pick 22. If Roseman is true to his word about drafting the BPA, would you guys feel comfortable with the Eagles picking ILB CJ Mosley at 22. My guess would be the thought process is that he would sit and learn behind ILB DeMeco Ryans for 1-2 years before becoming a full time started next to Kendricks.
Thoughts? Personally, I'd be happy with it. But I also know how badly everyone wants S Calvin Pryor just because of the desperate need at the safety position.
I ask this because if they decide to pass on ILB CJ Mosley, there are some potentially good ILB starters that may be available by our pick in rounds two (#54) and three (#86). I'm speaking mainly about ILB Chris Borland, ILB Shayne Skov, and ILB Christian Jones.
If we draft an ILB this year, would you guys prefer BPA ILB CJ Mosley or waiting until the 2nd, 3rd, or potentially 4th round for a replacement for Ryans?
I look forward to your responses! Enjoy Hump Day!
