For me this makes a lot of sense if you really think about it. He is 6'4 mobile QB with some starting experience and not to mention he's only 24 years old. Acquiring him should take top priority if he's either released or traded for. Chip said it himself that QB is a position of need so what would stop him from getting another QB especially a guy like Pryor. I'm leaning more trading for him instead of waiting because I really don't know if he would want to come here unless he had a real shot at starting. To trade for him I have three people off the top of my head that would make sense and they are Matt Barkley, Evan Mathis and Todd Herremans. Matt Barkley is an unknown and with the signing of Mark Sánchez does look good for Barkley with the draft looming. By trading him we can get Pryor and a pick. It works best for both teams. Mathis asked for more money and now they are ready to move him. Just like Barkley we can trade for a pick and Pryor for pro bowler Mathis. And what can I say about Herremans it just time for him to move on from the team. Pryor to me would be the only guy that Foles would be concern about because of his mobility and size. If he can become a better passer in our system you can say bye bye Foles. Am I wrong? With our coaches an system do you think he would be the starter over Foles? Remember Oakland is a place where you get paid but don't win not especially in that division.
