Logan Thomas is an intriguing QB prospect for me. He doesn't have the pedigree at QB like others and his college career as a starter has been up and down, but I go to his measurables. He is 6'6" 248 pounds who ran a 4.61 at the combine. His vertical was 35 inches. The problem with him is he was inconsistent, lack touch on the deep ball, and decision making. Pretty much he is the complete opposite of Nick Foles right now. You can even say opposite in every way football wise. This is not helping me make a case for him but stop for a sec. He is raw at QB and was converted from TE. If Chip and his coaching staff can put him on the level of Foles good decisions and touch. Chip will have a QB who can run his offense to the fullest and be able to take a hit better that some of these smaller prospects. Not only that he will be cheap for 4 years like Nick is now. But if it does work out at QB move him back to TE. Versatile players is what chip wants and had at Oregon. The other problem with Logan Thomas is that people have him all over the board from as high as a third rounded to undrafted free agent. Where is his value to this team? If I was GM I will grab him in the 5th round and trade away Barkley.
