Why we should trade Bryce Brown

The Eagles have one of the best running back cores in the league in Lesean Mccoy, Bryce Brown, and Chris Polk. Lesean McCoy was arguably the best running back in football last season and Brown and Polk were both good backups who got a pretty decent amount of playing time.

In my opinion, the Eagles depth chart at running back should go Lesean McCoy, Chris Polk, and then Bryce Brown but a lot of people would disagree with that and put Brown ahead of Polk but I personally do not think he is better. Polk is more of a downhill runner than Brown and has a lot more power.

In Brown's rookie season, he had a couple of amazing games carrying for over 100 yards in consecutive games, and then he got shut down by the Buccaneers, who had one of the best run defenses in football. Brown has two major issues: the first one is that he tends to bounce plays outside a lot. The second one is that he does not hold the ball tight enough which causes him to fumble a lot.

Coming out of high school, Brown was the number one running back recruit, but he did not produce anything in college so he did not get drafted until the seventh round by the Eagles. He did not play very well for the Eagles last season and I think Polk is a better option at running back. Polk did have shoulder surgery which could limit his play but I don't think that it will be a problem.

I would like for the Eagles to trade Bryce Brown for a sixth or fifth round pick in the upcoming draft. I could see a team who needs some running back depth trading a fifth round for him because he has shown flashes of greatness and can be a very valuable backup. Would you guys like for the Eagles to trade Brown?
