Why trading up is a bad idea

Many people are saying that the Eagles are going to trade up in the first round to pick a player such as Barr. This is a bad idea because of the following reasons:

1. Draft experts are saying that this is the deepest draft in the last decade so there will still be a lot of value at 22. Howe has said that we will be picking BPA throughout the draft so we will get the best prospect that is available at 22 overall.

2. In order to trade up we would most likely have to give up a third round pick which can be very valuable in this draft because of how deep it is.

3. I do not feel like Barr is an elite talent. I personally feel that there are better pass rushers in the draft and that he is overrated. I do not think he is worth giving up a third round pick for.
