Well, Philly, it was fun, but the Chip Kelly "experiment" is over, and the Chip Kelly Program is now in place.
The good news:
- Even though they lost in the wildcard round, everybody in the locker room can look at anybody else in the locker room, and see someone who made an important play during the season, plays that the team needed to get them to that point.
- Hmm. Weird. Says here that most of those guys will be back if the team wants them, that the team has a pile of cap money, and that the NFL has this thing called a "draft" every year, which the Eagles seem to be getting better at lately.
- Every other team in the NFC East seems to be imploding, but Philly fans would never get a kick out of seeing others suffer, so the right thing to do - the humanitarian thing - is to ship your friends in D.C, Dallas, and New Jersey a Foles jersey for the new year.
Good times. Some interesting decisions coming up in free agency, with some guys that could have a nice payday wherever they land.
