Eagles-Broncos final score: Denver stomps Philadelphia in a blow out, 52-20 - BLG, BGN
Peyton Manning threw for infinity yards and infinity touchdowns as the Eagles fell to the Broncos in Denver on Sunday afternoon.

Handing out 10 awards from the Eagles-Broncos game - JimmyK,
The "Opposite of Ballsy" Award: Chip Kelly
Eagles ball, 4th and 6 from the Denver 37, offense playing well, and the best offense in the league on the other sideline. There are two options here. Try a long FG attempt (54-55 yards), or go for it. Instead the Eagles punted, which resulted in a touchback (although it wound up at the 10 because of a Denver penalty). A 17 yard net (or 27 or whatever with the penalty) is of no benefit whatsoever. I thought we were getting a gambler in Chip Kelly. That was the equivalent of staying on 12 with the dealer showing a face card.
What is the opposite of ballsy? Squaresy? Chip Kelly was squaresy.

Butt-Whipped - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Lots of blame to go around for this. The roster isn’t talented enough. The schemes weren’t good in this game. And the players did a poor job of executing. But other than that… Some fans are really angry and really down. I don’t understand why. Denver is the best team in the NFL right now. And the Eagles are a work in progress. I know that getting whipped is never fun to watch, but I’ve said all along that you must keep your expectations in check with this Eagles team.

Kelly, Fans Searching For Progress - Tim McManus, Birds 24/7
It is almost universally understood that this is a rebuilding year. No one expected the Eagles to be Super Bowl contenders (except maybe a few that got caught up in the excitement after the Washington win); not with such a large organizational overhaul underway. But this is not a season without expectations. This base wants to see progress. They want their hope back.

Same story: Eagles pile up yards but not points - Geoff Mosher, CSN Philly
The Eagles are playing the "if" game about the once-explosive offense that their past two opponents have successfully detonated.

Bob Ford: Kelly using attitude to measure Eagles' progress -
"If we come out hanging our heads and feeling sorry for ourselves, then I'll say we didn't have any progress or growth," Kelly said. "The only thing you can do is go back to work and try to figure this thing out. If they are feeling sorry for themselves, then we haven't made any progress. If they come back to work Tuesday, then I'll be excited about this group as we move forward. I really believe they will."

Dave Fipp: We Must Stay the Course - Chris McPherson,
"We just have to stay the course and not panic. We'll be fine," special teams coordinator Dave Fipp said. "These guys work hard. They train hard. We have to do a better job of coaching and they have to do a better job of executing, but when all is said and done we'll be fine."

5 Observations After Eagles' Blowout Loss to Denver - Cody Benjamin, Bleed Green
1. There is no question the Eagles defense still needs time (and perhaps some upgrades) to improve, but it’s very important to remember that Manning and company have been lighting up every opponent they’ve faced this year. Did fans really expect the rebuilt Eagles defense of all units to put a leash on Manning, who came into the game with 12 touchdowns and no interceptions in just three weeks?
