Good news: there are only six players listed on the Eagles final injury report. Those players include:
CB Brandon Boykin (quad)
TE Brent Celek (shoulder)
CB Bradley Fletcher (concussion)
C Jason Kelce (thumb)
OT Dennis Kelly (back)
LB Mychael Kendricks (groin)
All six of these players were full participants in practice on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. They are all listed as Probable for Eagles-Chiefs on Thursday Night Football tomorrow night.
Bradley Fletcher is the notable player to return after missing the Chargers game with a concussion. His presence should bolster a thin Eagles secondary.
Brandon Hughes was placed on short-term injured reserve today after missing two days of practice this week. The Eagles signed DB Roc Carmichael to take his roster spot. Hughes will become a free agent once he is healthy.
The Kansas City Chiefs' injury report is longer than the Eagles. Here's how the Chiefs are shaping up:
Doubtful: TE Anthony Fasano (ankle)
Probable: LT Branden Albert (shoulder), DE Mike DeVito (neck), LB Nico Johnson (ankle), LB Dezman Moses (toe), LB James-Michael Johnson (neck)
It seems likely that Fasano won't play because he didn't practice all week. One of his backups, Travis Kelce (yes, Jason Kelce's little brother), is questionable which means Chiefs backup tight ends Sean McGrath and Kevin Brock could see time.
Joel Thorman at Arrowhead Pride says he hasn't sensed a serious concern with Chiefs' starting CB (and coveted player) Brandon Flowers missing the game despite being listed as questionable.
