Eagles-Redskins final score: Chip Kelly Orchestrates Victory in NFL Debut, Eagles Win 33-27 - Brandon Lee Gowton, BGN
Chip Kelly is the man, man.

Handing out 10 awards from the Eagles-Redskins game - Jimmy Kempski,
The "Win Math" Award: Billy Davis. "If you win on the road in the division, that's like a win and a half," explained Davis. In that case, the Eagles are the sole leaders in the NFC East.

Great Win, Good Game - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Michael Vick is tougher to discuss. I need to see the tape. He missed some throws that were wide open. He made one bonehead mistake when he ran out of bounds for a sack instead of throwing the ball away. That said, Vick didn’t have any turnovers (the early backward pass didn’t look like a backward pass so I was giving Vick a pass on that). He made some terrific throws. The TD to Brent Celek was very impressive. Vick ran for a TD and threw for 2 more. He had a 36-yard run late in the game that was big. That gave the offense some momentum. Vick had a good game. How good is the question.

Vick Pilots Offense To Successful Opener - Danta Klaus,
The Philadelphia Eagles entered the 2013 regular season as perhaps the most fascinating team in the NFL, with all kinds of intrigue and questions surrounding how new head coach Chip Kelly's offense would work at the professional level. While one of the questions was answered when Michael Vick won the starting quarterback competition during Training Camp, nobody was sure how the offense would look, and how Vick would perform, when the team finally had to take the field against the Washington Redskins. Despite an early fumble on what was ruled a backwards pass that led to Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall returning the ball 75 yards for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead, Vick executed Kelly's up-tempo, breakneck offense to perfection and led a well-oiled, precise unit that kept a gassed Redskins defense on its heels.

Chip, Offense Pumped After Opening-Day Fireworks - Tim McManus, Birds 24/7
"We have a new coach, he’s from college, and everyone wants to know how his style of offense is going to work in the NFL. Everybody’s curious," said McCoy. "We’re learning as this thing goes. Coach Kelly is new to us and we’re new to him and we’re working so well together. Everything he’s asked us to do, we’re doing. He’s a great coach. Today is the first time that I think a lot of the guys in the locker room had like fun. We couldn’t wait to get back out there and have fun."

Don't blink: The Eagles' future has arrived - Rich Hofmann, Daily News
Chip Kelly and the Eagles have arrived, loudly. They are simultaneously mesmerizing and exhausting. To watch them play on Monday night against the Washington Redskins was to watch the future, accompanied by constant reminders not to blink.

Chip Kelly restores order to Eagles in debut - Reuben Frank, CSN Philly
The Eagles are fun to watch. It’s been a while since any of us could say that.
