You Pick Em by Positional Grouping

I got to thinking about something that I wanted to see, based entirely off what people thought.

I am interested to know what people think, if they were an NFL executive in charge of adding player personnel, what they would do with this scenario. The goal here is to determine perceived conference strengths over the last ten to fifteen years by position as those positions pertain to the NFL.

You are picking for your positional groupings by the conference that the player would come from, based on their perceived or real success at that position in the NFL, rather than picking a player or even an exact year that they were drafted.

Please include at least two NCAA conferences, and up to 5, for each position and rank them in order. If you feel that the conferences are a tie for strength at that position please indicate that with an * next to the conference name.

Here are the positional breakdowns (feel free to go into more depth, like OL (G, T, C.))

Offense

1. QB

2. RB

3. WR

4. TE

5. OL

Defense

1. DT

2. DE

3. LB

4. CB

5. S

I will provide a bogus example.

1. QB (1. Sun Belt 2. ACC 3. Mountain West 4. *B1G 5. *Big South)

2. RB (1. MAC 2. Pac12 3. Somethingorotherconference)

3. WR (1. *SEC 2. *Mountain West)

4. TE (1. Big Twelve 2. Big East)

5. OL (etc)

Defense

1. DT

2. DE

3. LB

4. CB

5. S

Thanks for participating if you can. Although my bogus survey was crap, I would love to know how people actually feel about the strengths of the various NCAA conferences by position.
