Philadelphia Eagles Training Camp 2013 Notes & Quotes - Sunday 7/28/2013 - Brandon Lee Gowton, BGN
My notes from yesterday's practice. Quotes from Damaris Johnson, Brent Celek, Riley Cooper, and Brandon Graham. The energy at the Linc yesterday was sure impressive.

Eagles training camp 2013: GM Howie Roseman talks to the media - Jimmy Kempski,
It sure sounds like the Eagles are going to replace Maclin with an internal option.

Damaris Johnson Now A Key Player - Danta Klaus,
"I definitely think I can (be more than a return specialist)," Johnson said Sunday. "Even in the offseason I went out and prepared, my mind is always focused like that. I want to be that guy, I just want to be that guy that my team can count on."

Running Diary: Eagles Practice Observations - Sheil Kapadia, Birds 24/7
Sheil's timeline notes are always a must read. Did you know that Michael Vick is the franchise’s all-time leader in QB rating? Sheil does.

Sunday Wrap - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
The Eagles were in full pads and practiced at The Linc. The highlight of the day was the alumni part, where ex-Eagles were introduced to the crowd. Aside from that, this was a nondescript practice. Of course, that’s not always a bad thing.

Eagles Need Not Look Outside the Organization to Replace Jeremy Maclin - Andrew Kulp, The700Level
There really is no good reason or even need at all for the front office to go outside the organization to find Maclin’s replacement. The offense was already going to be more reliant on multiple tight ends and a strong ground attack, the likely targets to replace Maclin are not very strong for the most part in the first place, and it’s not as if there is any expectation the Birds win a Super Bowl this year anyway.

Eagles QB tracker: Vick, Foles split reps on Day 3 - John Gonzalez, CSN Philly
Per usual, Vick and Foles split reps with the first and second teams. Vick took 25 total snaps while Foles had 26. Both quarterbacks took 14 reps with the first team. Vick had 11 snaps with the second team while Foles recorded 12.
